Dear Gen, Josh, and Susan,
Lincoln is a beautiful city! Our son-in-law worked there one summer when he and Amy were dating. Amy made three trips to Lincoln that summer, and we got to go with her on one of the trips. If you drive, I hope you enjoy the rolling corn fields as you near Lincoln. You are leaving KC before I even get there, but I know that God is in control of where you are going. I will look forward to more news daily! Our email address is popsbuck@hotmail.com. Please write if there is anything we can take care of here in Missouri for you.
Glad to hear you are able to go to the rehab in Lincoln. Safe travels and I look forward to an update soon. Keep up to hard work Gen, you are doing fantastic! Love, Tracey
Just curious - why Nebraska? What happened to Mt. Vernon? We are all so glad to hear how you have progressed and that you have done well enough to move on to rehab.
Genevieve, you are in our prayers (and all of the people at church too).
Why lincoln? 'Cause Nebraska is the best! Missouri is pretty great also. But Gen deserves the best rehab facility to assist her recovery. I think the decision to go to lincoln is fantastic. If they understand the need for josh to be with her and visa versa. Then great the facility is compasionate to gen's relationship needs. Also * also another opinion* If there isn't a term limit to staying there, I imagine that alone would help eliminate some of the stressors gen could be feeling. I don't know about any one else but I don't like the stress of deadlines. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't want to work at thier own pace. She's proven already that she has a rigorous work ethic, and she is determined to achieve all that she can. If lincoln is the place to do it then so be it. Look at thier site.... I think you will agree that they made the best decision since the facility specializes in the area of gen's injury.
Glade to hear your recovery is going well. I've many teary nights since learing of your situation. You are strong, I wish you God's speed,See you soon. Uncle Brad
Hey, This is Leighton. We talked to Josh last night and he said they had arrived safely and were settling in. He was having trouble getting the internet connection to work, so there's no post yet. Anyway, just so you know, they did get there safely.
