today was a good day. our schedule got mixed because claude lost an inlay while flossing and had to go see the dentist. we didn't get to go to the pt wing today. instead, we had pt in the room. gen did very well today. she did this excercise while she was sitting on the side of the bed where we lean her to her side, elbow bent. she then has to straighten her arm using her triceps, and this pushes her up. speech therapy came at 2pm. gen did very well during speech therapy, too. she kept the speaking valve on for almost half an hour. during a counting excercise, we heard gen say "seven" and "four." the "f" and "v" sounds are getting easier for her, since they are lip movements. we laughed a lot tonight.
