we had a pretty tame day. gen did get up in the cardiac chair for about an hour. we worked on some mouthing excercises. she had her hands and arms worked out. randi redid gen's nails, and they look great. gen says she "had fun" today. she wanted me to let everyone know that she hasn't had her trach tube suctioned out in 24 hours. this means that her secretions are lessening. she told me that her swallowing is becoming more spontaneous.

Genski-
The birds love thier new cage. Thank you, for telling lei it was a "Good Deal". They have been exploring the new perches, and they even cuddled. Until Mathilde pecked Mr. Winthrop in the head. However you will be pleased to know that he pecked her right back. Then they ate some millet. Meanwhile we replaced the Burns' millet and they all "hopped" on it and nibbled as soon as it was secure in the cage. By the way they said "Beep...Beep and ehehehehehe" The royal "We" are going to put together as diary /slide show of your birds this week... So look forward to that by this saturday. Take care for now, and we will check in later in the day.
Ps.Buddy is still a really good cat even after being unsupervised for nearly two days. I imagine you are as proud of him as he is of you because I think you are both trying so hard. Only he is a cat. And really it is sorta dumb to compare the two huh?!? Well hope you fill in the blanks and know I meant well by that even though...
love and imaginary mylar baloon that looks tropical and says "I didn't work at a travel agency for nix."
= randi
oh and PPS.
here is a little quote-ish exerpt thing that you know I am fond of....
Alice laughed. "There is no use trying," she said: " one can't believe impossible things."
"I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen.
"When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
I think that you will find that with every passing day you will be able to do so many seemingly "impossible things" Lately I have wondered if everyone worked as dillegently as you do imagine all the fantastic things that could be acomplished. So yes keep up the good work.
Sounds like things are going well and progress being made. We are praying for you all constantly. We've seen a miracle in that I figured out how to use this thing. We'll keep watching the reports and rejoycing at you're progress. We love you all. Bonham and Lida Oney.
I really enjoyed looking at your site, I found it very helpful indeed, keep up the good work.
